Amusement Parks in Ohio
Cedar Point-- Cedar Point was declared the largest amusement park in the world, & is home to the largest, longest, fastest roller coaster, Millenium Force, travelling 92 mph, at a 310-foot drop at an 80-degree angle. Cedar Point contains 14 roller coasters, children's attractions, water rides, etc. There are a total of 68 rides...you couldn't do it all in only one day!
Paramount Kings Island--This park is home to famous thrill rides such as Son of Beast, Drop Zone, King Cobra, and more! Enjoy live stage productions, and be sure to take the kids to the kid-sized side of the park!

Caverns & Nature

Olentangy Caverns-- Formed many years ago by the tremendous force of an underground river cutting through solid limestone, Olentangy Indian Caverns offer an exciting adventure. This geological wonder can be toured by descending 105 feet on foot to a world where time stands still.
Ohio Caverns-- Ohio Caverns is the largest and most beautiful of all Ohio Caves. Its exquisite crystal-white stalactite and stalagmite formations are nowhere to be found in greater profusion of artistic settings. The diversity of formations and unexcelled coloring are all the more interesting because the formations are still in the process of development so be sure to bring your camera to keep these memories.

Mohican State Park-- Bring the family, bring the tent, and wear good walking shoes! Hocking Hills-- The Hocking Hills region is home to 9 state parks, over 9000 acres of state forest land, part of the Wayne National Forest, contains 4 nature preserves and one of the largest metro parks in the state. The Kokosing Gap Trail-- If you're looking for a pleasant walking trail right in Mt. Vernon, this is exactly what you're looking for. The Kokosing Gap Trail is a paved, 14-mile recreational trail built on a former Pennsylvania Railroad line with endpoints in Mount Vernon and Danville, Ohio. Richland Mall--Located midway between Cleveland and Columbus in north central Ohio, Richland Mall is the largest shopping destination in its surrounding five-county region. The center features 70 mall specialty stores and is anchored by the region's four dominant department stores - Kaufmann's, Lazarus, Sears, and JCPenney. A six-unit food court was recently created from a expansion/renovation project completed in Spring 1998.
